The anwer would be a resounding NO. And now he said in an executive order that doctors have the authority to ask about guns in your home. And we have the authority to 1-not answer 2-find a new doctor.
Of course, it’s all woven together–the medical record database, wrapped into a national gun registration database. You see, if you’re not on the gun database but you go to your doc with a sore throat and you tell him you’ve got guns, then those databases merge, your name pops out, you get a knock on your door and a law enforecement officer (or ATF goon) says he’s hear to search for your guns and confiscate them because you didn’t register them with the government.
I wrote this in March of 2012, being I use the Veterans Hospital and have been asked on different occasions by different doctors. My answer is always the same:
Don’t panic yet Freedom.
He has overstepped the boundaries the Constitution allows him to do.
As far as the Doc goes, tell him/her to pound sand.
