Freedom’s Last Stand…by AFVet

So now the Patriots and the men and women that have served this Country and currently may have their children serving in the Armed Forces are probably worried about their future.

We are manning the gates and the watchtowers.

The enemy within is obvious to US.

It appears that it resides in the White House.

What a shame!

The commander in chief is supposed to be the one that eliminates the threats to our Country, not the one who exacerbates the chaos that is being forced upon US.

The congress is supposed to restrict the president from becoming a dictator.

Has the congress failed in their duty to the American People ?

Has the president failed in his duty to the American People ?

Has the Supreme Court failed in interpreting the Constitution of the United States ?

Barack Obama is a dictator, prove me wrong, I am open for discussion on that subject.

How did we get here ?

382124_443361355726828_283418650_n

What happened to the

American Spirit ?

Is the ignorance that exists in this Country as far as government control a reflection of where we are or where we are going ?

The elegance of the American Spirit is still intact, and it will always be what we will depend on to restore our Country back from the devious entities that are determined to take Her down.

Men and Women are on the Watchtowers.

They are informed as to what is happening.

They see the destruction of this Country unfolding before their eyes.

Courage in the face of evil is what we are all about.

How long will we allow this War on America to continue?

941468_10201407376736848_1211595244_n

The invasion of America began with the election of Woodrow Wilson and continues to this day.  Howbeit ever so subtle in the beginning we hardly noticed the enemy at our gates.  Some one hundred years after the fact we find ourselves in  amazement at the overwhelming forces that have come to bare against our Constitution and way of life. This is like awaking from a nightmare only to realize it is reality.

America is in peril today not so much because of this corrupt administration but more so because of a populace that has embraced their Marxist/Socialist ideology.  A populace that no longer embraces the values that made this the greatest nation the world has ever known, but rather, a populace that has sold their soul for a free ride.

America is on the Brink of Destruction

America is on the brink of destruction and it will be this generation of Americans that will determine whether America can be brought back to her former glory or be lost forever in the sea of apathy.

Now is the time for all American’s to rise up and speak with a loud voice. The November Mid-Term Elections will be upon us before we know it and there is no time to waste. This is the time to tell your family and friends to get involved. This is the time to get them informed. America hangs in the balance my friends.

What’s it gonna be America?

Those Wacko Gun Control Activists are at it again!

486114_600661426628077_925954504_n

It is common knowledge that the last two attempts at mass murder were committed using Shot Guns (most likely on the advice of Joe Biden) instead of the Semi-Automatic AR15 or AK47 large capacity clip weapons used in the past.  The gun control advocates have labeled these weapons as ‘Assault Rifles’ but just so you know, they are not.

Our government has classified an ‘Assault Rifle‘ as one that fires in ‘Fully Automatic‘ mode similar to a Machine Gun.

Well, just when you think you’ve heard it all, Fox News comes up with this latest report!

Gun control advocates vow to take fight into 2014 elections, spend millions

Gun control advocates acknowledged Sunday that they were disappointed with efforts this year to tighten firearm laws across the country but vowed to continue their fight, including spending millions on their candidates in next year’s elections.

Their comments came one year after the Sandy Hook elementary school massacre in which 20 students and six adults were fatally shot in Newtown, Conn. However, Congress failed to pass no major gun-control legislation in the aftermath.

“We get disappointed,” said Mark Kelly, who co-founded the gun-control group Americans for Responsible Solutions with wife Gabrielle Giffords, the former congresswoman who was shot on the campaign trail in 2011.

The retired astronaut and Navy captain told “Fox News Sunday” the defeat of the so-called, bipartisan Manchin-Toomey Senate gun bill was “not a good day” but that his group plans to spend $25 million in the next election cycle.

Though the focus of America’s gun debate appears to be shifting from weapons bans to keeping firearms away from criminals and the mentally ill, gun-rights advocates seem steadfast in their efforts to limit background checks and repeal laws that prevent people from defending themselves against attackers.

“There’s no victory until we get guns in school and elsewhere to protect ourselves,” Larry Pratt, executive director of Gun Owners of America, told Fox News. “The legislation that is on the books is lethal … and we simply have to get rid of them.”

Kelly said that anti-gun groups were able to spend about as much as pro-gun groups in the recent Virginia gubernatorial race in which Democrat Terry McAuliffe defeated Republican Ken Cuccinelli — a sign that the balance of power is shifting after his side got outspent in the Capitol Hill gun debates.

Carlee Soto, whose sister was killed in the Dec. 14, 2012, attack at Sandy Hook elementary, in Newtown, Conn., also acknowledged the effort to tighten gun laws has been difficult, but she remains optimistic.

“Some days I don’t want to speak in front of the camera … but my sister can’t do that,” she told Fox News. “I believe we will have sensible gun laws in the future.”

Is President Obama Naughty or Nice?

600327_612903245391291_141654841_n

Is President Obama Naughty or Nice?

Seems the jury is still out on that question with about 51% of the American people who voted for him a second time.

Recent poll numbers indicate a sharp decline in this Presidents approval ratings.

Could these be some of the reasons for that sudden drop?

Massive NSA spying on Americans?

Arming the IRS and DHS better than our own Military?

IRS targeting Conservative Groups?

Illegal AP wiretaps?

Relieving out top Military Commanders?

A President being caught in lie after lie?

 Sealed Presidential records?

Non stop White House Scandals?

Fast and Furious gun running?

Benghazi?

Massive Voter Fraud?

Secrecy instead of promised Transparency?

Abuses of Power?

New FEMA Camps?

BEST SUMMATION OF BARACK AND MICHELLE EVER!
Mychal Massie is a respected writer and talk show host in Los Angeles.
massiewnd

The other evening on my twitter, a person asked me why I didn’t like the Obama’s? Specifically I was asked: “I have to ask, why do you hate the Obama’s? It seems personal, not policy related. You even dissed (disrespect) their Christmas family picture.”

The truth is I do not like the Obamas, what they represent, their ideology, and I certainly do not like his policies and legislation. I’ve made no secret of my contempt for the Obamas. As I responded to the person who asked me the aforementioned question, I don’t like them because they are committed to the fundamental change of my/our country into what can only be regarded as a Communist state.

I don’t hate them per definition, but I condemn them because they are the worst kind of racialists, they are elitist Leninists with contempt for traditional America. They display disrespect for the sanctity of the office he holds, and for those who are willing to admit same, Michelle Obama’s raw contempt for white America is transpicuous. I don’t like them because they comport themselves as emperor and empress.

I expect, no I demand respect, for the Office of President and a love of our country and her citizenry from the leader entrusted with the governance of same. President and Mrs. Reagan displayed an unparalleled love for the country and her people.

The Reagan’s made Americans feel good about themselves and about what we could accomplish. Obama’s arrogance by appointing 32 leftist czars and constantly bypassing congress is impeachable. Eric Holder is probably the MOST incompetent and arrogant DOJ head to ever hold the job. Could you envision President Reagan instructing his Justice Department to act like jack-booted thugs?

Presidents are politicians and all politicians are known and pretty much expected to manipulate the truth, if not outright lie, but even using that low standard, the Obama’s have taken lies, dishonesty, deceit, mendacity, subterfuge and obfuscation to new depths. They are verbally abusive to the citizenry, and they display an animus for civility.

I do not like them, because they both display bigotry overtly, as in the case of Harvard Professor Louis Gates, when he accused the Cambridge Police of acting stupidly, and her code speak pursuant to not being able to be proud of America. I view that statement and that mindset as an insult to those who died to provide a country where a Kenyan, his illegal alien relatives, and his alleged progeny, could come and not only live freely, but rise to the highest, most powerful, position in the world.

Michelle Obama is free to hate and disparage whites because Americans of every description paid with their blood to ensure her right to do same. I have a saying, that “the only reason a person hides things, is because they have something to hide.” No president in history has spent millions of dollars to keep his records and his past sealed.

And what the two of them have shared has been proved to be lies. He lied about when and how they met, he lied about his mother’s death and problems with insurance, Michelle lied to a crowd pursuant to nearly $500,000 bank stocks they inherited from his family. He has lied about his father’s military service, about the civil rights movement, ad nausea. He lied to the world about the Supreme Court in a State of the Union address. He berated and publicly insulted a sitting Congressman. He has surrounded himself with the most rabidly, radical, socialist academicians today.

He opposed rulings that protected women and children that even Planned Parenthood did not seek to support. He is openly hostile to business and aggressively hostile to Israel. His wife treats being the First Lady as her personal American Express Black Card (arguably the most prestigious credit card in the world). I condemn them because, as people are suffering, losing their homes, their jobs, their retirements, he and his family are arrogantly showing off their life of entitlement – as he goes about creating and fomenting class warfare.

I don’t like them, and I neither apologize nor retreat from my public condemnation of them and of his policies. We should condemn them for the disrespect they show our people, for his willful and unconstitutional actions pursuant to obeying the Constitutional parameters he is bound by, and his willful disregard for Congressional authority.

Dislike for them has nothing to do with the color of their skin; it has everything to do with their behavior, attitudes, and policies. And I have open scorn for their constantly playing the race card.

I could go on, but let me conclude with this. I condemn in the strongest possible terms the media for refusing to investigate them, as they did President Bush and President Clinton, and for refusing to label them for what they truly are. There is no scenario known to man, whereby a white president and his wife could ignore laws, flaunt their position, and lord over the people, as these two are permitted out of fear for their color.

As I wrote in a syndicated column titled, “Nero In The White House” – “Never in my life, inside or outside of politics, have I witnessed such dishonesty in a political leader. He is the most mendacious political figure I have ever witnessed. Even by the low standards of his presidential predecessors, his narcissistic, contumacious arrogance is unequalled. Using Obama as the bar, Nero would have to be elevated to sainthood…

Many in America wanted to be proud when the first person of color was elected president, but instead, they have been witness to a congenital liar, a woman who has been ashamed of America her entire life, failed policies, intimidation, and a commonality hitherto not witnessed in political leaders. He and his wife view their life at our expense as an entitlement – while America’s people go homeless, hungry and unemployed.”

The Sorry President

1463607_10151866054252740_1375418339_nHat tip to Fox News for this poll

President Obama says he was unaware U.S. intelligence agencies were listening to the cell phone calls of world leaders, including allies such as German Chancellor Angela Merkel. He also said he found out the same time as the rest of us about the IRS targeting of conservative groups. Same thing on the health care exchange website failing — the president insisted he was unaware the site for his signature legislative achievement wouldn’t work.

Many voters don’t believe President Obama is really that far out of the loop.

The latest Fox News poll finds that while 45 percent believe the president when he pleads ignorance in these controversies, 47 percent think he did in fact know and he’s ducking responsibility by denying it.

1391830_10151868516067740_1684095917_n

One has to wonder how any rational thinking American can believe anything this President tells us?

988342_10151866012267740_454843132_n

The 45 percent who believe Obama was unaware breakdown further: 27 percent think he still “should have known” about these things, while 18 percent say it’s “understandable” that he didn’t know.

A majority of Republicans (71 percent), nearly half of independents (46 percent) and almost a quarter of Democrats (22 percent) think, contrary to his statements, the president knew about these situations ahead of time.

Groups most likely to disbelieve Obama’s denials include those who are part of the tea party movement (80 percent), men (55 percent), those under age 30 (55 percent) and whites (53 percent).

The poll also finds 45 percent feel Obama is “good at taking personal responsibility for his statements and actions,” while just over half — 51 percent — believe he “spends too much time blaming others.”

By a 64 percentage-point margin Republicans are more likely to say Obama blames others, as do independents by 14 points.

Democrats are more likely to believe Obama takes responsibility by a 55-point spread.

Men think Obama blames others (58 percent), while women say he takes responsibility (51 percent).

Poll Pourri

As reported Wednesday, by a 50-40 percent margin voters think Obama “knowingly lied” when he assured Americans they could keep their plans under Obamacare. And a 59-percent majority believes the White House knew beforehand that people would be kicked off their insurance because of the law.

Meanwhile, a majority views Obama’s apology to those losing their insurance as “political” (58 percent) rather than “sincere” (38 percent).

The Fox News poll is based on landline and cell phone interviews with 1,006 randomly chosen registered voters nationwide and was conducted under the joint direction of Anderson Robbins Research (D) and Shaw & Company Research (R) from November 10-12, 2013. The full poll has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus three percentage points.

The Moral Majority has lost the High Ground and America has become a Liberal Prison

64227_10151541833071069_678362571_n

Here is a comment from another post in which

The Bard of the American Redoubt

makes a most disturbing statement.

Could this be true?

I come from the side that believes the hour is late. The gray state is being implemented. Citizens are disappearing, being gunned down and murdered. The FedGov has gone much further than “poking the tiger.” I don’t think these sociopaths can be reasoned with.

This reminds me of a bully and a guy in the park. The guy says “don’t touch me” The bully pokes him. The guy says, look I am backing up here, don’t come over this line, the bully crosses the line. The guy says, I am over here, WAY over here, standing under this tree, man if you keep messing with me I, I, I… I am going to do something. The bully laughs at him and continues one. The cowardice of all of us, myself included is disgusting. Basically we may not deserve liberty and freedom.

If you still think you can work this out with “normal politics” you are part of the problem.

And yea, I agree with Bill O’Reilly sometimes and not. That is ok, all thinking men will disagree at times. I will say Bill O’Reilly who gets his living from Outrage Porn doesn’t really want this system to come “unglued.” That would cost him.

The bully not only has poked you, he has bitch-slapped your wife, knocked your children’s teeth out and taken all of your money. So … what are you going to do about it? If you care, more here: http://wp.me/p2Qno5-175

In another comment we read this:

I hope what you are trying to do works. I really, really do. However to me you are like Jews trying to make nice in Germany in 1930 or so. If you think you can answer what is happening with “more faxes and voting on their electronic machines” or you don’t realize there is no longer a moral majority, taxpaying God-fearing men are now a permanent minority. Welcome to it. You don’t get that K-street pays both sides, Geb Bush or Hilary Clinton, doesn’t really matter now does it? NSA shut down? socialist state significantly reversed? There are more people who want free stuff, then tax payers. Thus who are you trying to convince to vote their free stuff way? You really think holding signs will get people to want to “work hard, and stop living off of others?” Then as I said “you are now part of the problem. A distraction (like porn) from what we must all be willing to do. From reality.” Please never say “…I didn’t see this coming…” Here is a line by Anna Barnhardt.

“You people had better man up and do something real and concrete to depose these neo-Stalinist psychopaths. Mere talk and hand-wringing leads straight to mass graves.”

http://www.barnhardt.biz/2013/10/11/history-rhymes-obamacare-website-and-the-ukrainian-wheat-farmers/

Good luck in all you do fighting for freedom.

I for one see some real merit in the comments from the

Bard of American Redoubt

and though I may not agree with all of it I certainly did have to sit up and take notice.

Don’t be Deceived America

Here are the Real Issues we face today

Secret courts. Secret emails. Phone surveillance. Drones. The list of cloak-and-dagger tactics employed by the Obama administration — and those that preceded it — keeps growing, as NSA leaker Ed Snowden feeds classified materials to the media and other reports show the extent of the U.S. government’s more opaque dealings.

The latest was a report by The Associated Press that said the administration had military files about the Navy SEAL raid on Usama bin Laden’s hideout transferred to the CIA, where they would be harder to uncover by the press and public.

If this were any other administration, perhaps the fallout would be minimal. But President Obama ran on a message of open government. When he was sworn into office in 2009, he declared his presidency would be “the most open and transparent in history.”

Now in his second term, those claims have been challenged by a host of revelations — from controversies over secret mails to the steady drip of information about NSA surveillance. FoxNews.com takes a look at six controversies that have clouded the transparency message.

  • 1Secret Emails

    AP

Arizona Sen. John McCain is still trying to get answers out of the Obama administration on why several of the president’s political appointees were caught using supposedly secret government email accounts to conduct official business.

“Four years ago you pledged to usher in a new era of government transparency,” McCain wrote in a June 17 letter to Obama. “Since then, however, your administration has habitually circumvented congressional oversight.”

McCain’s letter follows an investigation by The Associated Press that showed several of Obama’s high-level political appointees have been using private emails to do business.

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, and former EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson, are just two of the federal officials who maintained private email accounts.

When asked about the account, Sebelius denied it was “secret.”

“There’s a public email and a private email,” she said, adding that anyone could formally request to have access to the information.

Sebelius said she needed a second account to deal with the influx of messages which sometimes reached 28,000. Administration officials defended the use of secondary accounts and said they are needed to keep their primary inboxes from overflowing. But others remain concerned that top-level government officials could hide sensitive information in the accounts that might go unchecked in FOIA requests.

  • 2Surveillance Nation

    AP

When former National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden told The Guardian and The Washington Post newspapers that the NSA could use its online data-mining system to monitor people without a warrant, several lawmakers spoke out on the practice that to many crossed a privacy line.

President Obama went on PBS and said he encouraged public debate on the balance between privacy and national security but critics say his words, and his administration’s actions just don’t jibe.

During a rare appearance on Capitol Hill in June, NSA Director Gen. Keith Alexander said the two programs disclosed by Snowden — one that gathers U.S. phone records and another designed to track Internet servers – were crucial in the fight against terrorism.

Alexander, also head of U.S. Cyber Command, said the government’s sweeping surveillance programs have helped thwart dozens of terrorist plots, including one on New York City’s subway system. Alexander’s testimony marked the first time an NSA official answered to Congress following the news that the agency was collecting phone records and Internet content.

  • 3Fuzzy on FOIA?

    AP

It hasn’t been so sunny in the Obama White House for journalists and members of the public looking for information. Cause of Action – a conservative group that rates the transparency of government – gave the administration a C- for failing to provide requests for documents made under the Freedom of Information Act.

The group found that nearly three quarters of government agencies were unable to respond to their request for information within a 30-day window which is required by law.

A report released earlier this year by The Associated Press found the Obama administration frequently cited national security and internal deliberations as reasons why they could not comply with FOIA requests. The administration fully rejected more than one-third of requests, a slight increase over 2011, including cases when it couldn’t find records, a person refused to pay for copies or the request was determined to be improper.

  • 4What Happened at IRS?

    AP

It’s been a rough few months for the Internal Revenue Service. In May, Americans were rocked by revelations that the tax collecting agency had unfairly targeted conservative groups for extra scrutiny when they applied for tax-exempt status.

Both parties and President Obama strongly condemned the tax agency’s actions, which led to the ousting of acting IRS Director Steven Miller. When asked if he supported the appointment of a special prosecutor, though, Obama said he thought working with Congress to investigate the case would be sufficient. That didn’t sit well with some lawmakers.

“The unifying themes of this town are an arrogance and view of the machinery of government to be a tool of partisanship,” Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, said. Republicans, who have held a series of hearings, remain concerned that the full story behind the scandal has not yet been told.

A top official implicated, Lois Lerner, recently refused to testify by citing her Fifth Amendment rights, though lawmakers are trying to compel her to return.

In July, acting IRS Commissioner Danny Werfel told workers the agency would be canceling employee bonuses for managers and is working to cancel bonuses for union workers too.

  • 5Fast and Furious

    AP

Republicans, despite extracting reams of documents and hours of testimony out of the Obama administration on the matter, are still fighting for more details about the Operation Fast and Furious debacle.

The gunwalking program was the largest in U.S. history and was run out of an Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives field office in Arizona. The plan was to sell guns to buyers and trace them in the black market as they crossed the U.S.-Mexico border, with the expectation they would lead federal officials to drug cartel leaders. The plan failed, and congressional inquiries followed.

As part of the fallout, Attorney General Eric Holder became the first Obama administration official to be held in contempt by the House for failing to cooperate with an official inquiry and hand over documents related to the 2009 plan. Republicans continue to fight in court for those documents — which Obama locked down by claiming executive privilege.

When pressed by lawmakers for information on the program, Holder advised the president that releasing documents related to Fast and Furious “would raise substantial separation of powers concerns” and potentially create an imbalance in the relationship” between Congress and the White House.

In July, Justice Department records linked two more deaths, including the fatal shooting of a police chief in Mexico, to the operation. According to Mexican officials, 210 people have either been killed or wounded as a result of Fast and Furious.

  • 6ObamaCare: Behind Closed Doors?

    AP

When President Obama was on the campaign trail, he talked a good game about making the government more transparent. Specifically, he said he’d open up negotiations on what would come to be known as the Affordable Care Act, commonly referred to as ObamaCare, to the public. He was quoted in the press several times saying negotiations would be open to C-SPAN cameras.

“I’m going to have all the negotiations around a big table,” he said during a 2008 campaign event. “We’ll have doctors and nurses and hospital administrators. Insurance companies, drug companies – they’ll get a seat at the table, they just won’t be able to buy every chair. But what we will do is we’ll have the negotiations televised on C-SPAN.”

    That did not happen.

More questions were being raised this week about the law, after the administration announced ahead of the July 4th holiday that it was delaying a key insurance mandate in the law. Lawmakers want to know what led to that decision, and what the fiscal consequences will be.

Change the Subject and Dodge the Scandals

obamaspeak_20130722_124649Hat tip to Fox News for this report

Obama tries to refocus message on economy amid summer setbacks

ObamaCare is getting rickety. The IRS scandal is expanding. And every few days, a new leak emerges about another U.S. surveillance tactic.

Time to change the subject?

President Obama, whose administration is grappling with a succession of burgeoning scandals and policy headaches, is trying to hit the reset as the summer drags on without any outright second-term victories under his belt. That effort begins Wednesday, when the president plans to kick off a series of addresses on an issue not without its own troubles — the economy.

Obama’s team tried to build the anticipation on Sunday, with senior adviser Dan Pfeiffer sending out an enthusiastic email about the upcoming event at an Illinois college — one Obama previously visited as a U.S. senator.

“This Wednesday, almost five years after the financial crisis fueled a devastating recession, and two years after a debate over whether or not America would pay its bills that harmed our recovery, the President will return to Knox College to kick off a series of speeches that will lay out his vision for rebuilding an economy that puts the middle class and those fighting to join it front and center. He’ll talk about the progress we’ve made together, the challenges that remain, and the path forward,” Pfeiffer wrote.

The White House says the Wednesday speech at Knox College in Galesburg, Ill., will be the first of many speeches on the economy Obama intends to deliver over the next several weeks ahead of key budget deadlines in the fall. A new fiscal year begins in October, and the government will soon hit its borrowing limit.

But the speech also comes as the administration tries to shake off a string of setbacks.

The administration earlier this month delayed a key provision of the federal health care overhaul — a move which raised broader questions about the law’s implementation, and prompted the House to vote last week for a delay of the law’s insurance coverage requirements. Republicans still want to repeal the law entirely.

Separately, the controversy over the IRS’ targeting of conservative groups — a practice first revealed in May — continues to build. While House Democrats allege that liberal groups may have been targeted too, House Republicans held a high-profile hearing last week where a retired worker alleged a political appointee’s office was involved in screening Tea Party applications.

Add to that the trouble the administration, and Congress, have had on several legislative fronts. A comprehensive immigration bill cleared the Senate, but House Republican leaders are throwing the brakes on the legislation. House Speaker John Boehner again made clear in an interview on Sunday that the House will break the issue into smaller bills.

“The House does not like the Senate bill. It’s one big, massive bill ,” Boehner said on CBS’ “Face the Nation. “What we’re going to do in the House is we’re dealing with this in a common sense, step-by-step approach.”

Congress still hasn’t passed a bill to roll back a recent hike on federally subsidized student loan rates — something Obama has deemed a priority.

And the recent overthrow of Mohammed Morsi in Egypt has strained the administration to articulate a new policy toward the crucial Middle East country. It has so far declined to label the overthrow a coup, mindful of provisions that would require the U.S. to cut off military aid to the country. But it’s also unclear whether the Egyptian military, which orchestrated the overthrow, will move quickly to call elections.

Pfeiffer, in his email to supporters, suggested the controversies in Washington over scandals and other issues are a distraction.

“The president thinks Washington has largely taken its eye off the ball on the most important issue facing the country,” Pfeiffer said Sunday evening in a message sent to the White House’s public email list. “Instead of talking about how to help the middle class, too many in Congress are trying to score political points, re-fight old battles and trump up phony scandals.”

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said Monday that Obama will be talking about where the economy needs to go from here.

“We have come a long way from the depths of the Great Recession,” he said.

In his economic pitch, Obama will talk Wednesday about efforts to expand manufacturing, sign up the uninsured for health care coverage, revitalize the housing industry and broaden educational opportunities for preschoolers and college students. He will also promote the economic benefits of the immigration overhaul.

Obama is pushing to end the federal budget cuts that kicked in this year so they don’t extend into the next fiscal year. That could create a showdown with congressional Republicans in September, as the end of the current fiscal year approaches. Some Republicans also want more deficit reduction as a price for raising the debt ceiling, a bargain Obama says he will not make.

Republicans are fundamentally opposed to Obama’s mix of budget cuts and tax increases. It wasn’t until after last year’s election that Republicans agreed to increase taxes for the wealthiest Americans in a deal that kept taxes for most Americans at rates set during the administration of President George W. Bush.

Appearing on CBS’ “Face the Nation” Sunday, Boehner said the way to get the economy moving again is by stopping unnecessary regulations and bringing the federal deficit under control.

Describing “this new normal of slow economic growth, no increase in jobs that are available, wages are being basically frozen,” Boehner said: “We’re squeezing the middle class. And I would argue the president’s policies are getting in the way of the economy growing, whether it’s Obamacare, whether it’s all these needless regulations that are coming out of the government.”

Pfeiffer said Obama will unveil some new ideas, outline steps Congress can take and identify measures he can initiate on his own.

“He’ll talk about the progress we’ve made together, the challenges that remain and the path forward,” Pfeiffer said.

How did a murder trial between a Hispanic and a Black become a Racial Issue?

Look no further than the Main Stream Media inspired Racism

We have all seen the Media spin in making this an issue more about race then self defense.  At the onset of this tragic story the media reported Zimmerman as being white based on his last name.  Shortly after the pictures were released it was obvious to all that Zimmerman was Hispanic  and yet the media continued on about the fact that it was a seventeen year old Black youth who was shot by a neighborhood watch captain.  As it turned out in a court of law Zimmerman did act in self defense and was found not guilty.  Sadly, the media had set in motion the idea of this being a racial issue and has not turned back in their reporting to the facts brought forth in this case.

Shame on you liberal media, President Obama, and Eric Holder for turning this into more racial division in America
