A small word but a powerful one when it comes to your privacy.

What gives the federal government the right to impose itself upon you if you have done no wrong ?

Many people take the opinion that they haven’t broken any law.

Many say that they have committed no crimes.

With today’s government,…can you be sure ?

My response to those comments are,…by who’s rules?

Children that are suspended from school for forming a gun with their hand.

Or for eating a pop tart into the shape of a gun.

All the while, teachers, men and women, are engaging in sex with the students that they are paid to educate by the parents that have no choice but to put their children in their care.

All of this is happening amidst the desecration of the Christian voice striving to speak out against it.

The gay community, the abomination, continues to grab the headlines on our news channels.

The LGBT has infested our Military, and yet we allow it to proceed.

America, what have we become ?

Are you willing to accept this ?

Aren’t you willing to take a stand and say NO MORE !

Take heed my friends, for the task that we must undergo is at hand.

Go out there and VOTE for OUR Country, and Her survival in the choppy seas that She is immersed in.

Right now, the rudder is in the wrong hands.

We need to wrench those hands off the rudder and put this ship back on course.

Back on the course that the Constitution set.

How long will we allow this War on America to continue?

941468_10201407376736848_1211595244_n

The invasion of America began with the election of Woodrow Wilson and continues to this day.  Howbeit ever so subtle in the beginning we hardly noticed the enemy at our gates.  Some one hundred years after the fact we find ourselves in  amazement at the overwhelming forces that have come to bare against our Constitution and way of life. This is like awaking from a nightmare only to realize it is reality.

America is in peril today not so much because of this corrupt administration but more so because of a populace that has embraced their Marxist/Socialist ideology.  A populace that no longer embraces the values that made this the greatest nation the world has ever known, but rather, a populace that has sold their soul for a free ride.

America is on the Brink of Destruction

America is on the brink of destruction and it will be this generation of Americans that will determine whether America can be brought back to her former glory or be lost forever in the sea of apathy.

Now is the time for all American’s to rise up and speak with a loud voice. The November Mid-Term Elections will be upon us before we know it and there is no time to waste. This is the time to tell your family and friends to get involved. This is the time to get them informed. America hangs in the balance my friends.

President Obama’s thoughts on Legalizing Marijuana

35b248c52d54a688399b9e885b88d781

President Obama is taking a hit from anti-drug groups for downplaying the effects of marijuana use, as some point out his recent comments appear to clash with statements by his own health and law enforcement agencies.

The president, in a recent interview with The New Yorker, likened pot to cigarettes and alcohol.

“As has been well documented, I smoked pot as a kid, and I view it as a bad habit and a vice, not very different from the cigarettes that I smoked as a young person up through a big chunk of my adult life. I don’t think it is more dangerous than alcohol,” Obama said.

He added that smoking marijuana is “not something I encourage” and is “a bad idea, a waste of time, not very healthy.”

But anti-drug and public health organizations have since seized on the remarks, claiming the president is giving a muddy picture of the medical downsides of marijuana.

“His laissez-faire attitude about legalization has drug policy and prevention experts scratching their heads in confusion as to why the President will not give clear guidance on this important issue,” The Drug-Free America Foundation said on its website.

“President Obama is surrounded by a myriad of experts who have voiced serious concerns about the harms of marijuana and rejected legalization, so either he is seriously ill-informed about the issue or is completely ignoring warnings from his highly-esteemed advisers.”

Obama’s comments were made to the backdrop of Colorado and Washington state legalizing and regulating marijuana. His remarks could be taken as another signal that his administration will not interfere with their experiment — though recreational marijuana use remains illegal under federal law.

The president echoed the argument that pro-legalization advocates often make, stressing the cost to society of locking up minor drug offenders.

“Middle-class kids don’t get locked up for smoking pot, and poor kids do,” Obama said. “And African-American kids and Latino kids are more likely to be poor and less likely to have the resources and the support to avoid unduly harsh penalties.”

But his administration, and those of his predecessors, repeatedly have documented and publicized health risks from the drug.

Obama’s own Office of National Drug Control Policy still states on its website that the administration “steadfastly opposes legalization of marijuana and other drugs.”

The office lists a range of negative health and mental consequences from the drug, including schizophrenia, lower IQ (“as much as an 8 point drop”), and higher risk of heart attack.

The National Institute on Drug Abuse says the drug is addictive, with nearly 4.2 million people having a pot abuse or addiction problem in 2011.

The agency says the drug is linked to “school failure” and high doses “can cause psychosis or panic when you’re high.”

The American Society of Addiction Medicine released a statement on Tuesday noting that the drug impairs memory, motor function and respiratory health when smoked — and can be addictive.

“Addiction is a chronic brain disease that can affect people at any age. In fact, the younger one initiates alcohol or drug use, the greater the likelihood that he or she has addictive disease,” ASAM President Stuart Gitlow said.

A recurring rebuttal to the president’s comments is that weed today is stronger than it was when, say, Obama smoked it.

The White House drug office says studies show the potency has “almost tripled over the past 20 years.”

Marijuana Legalization

Marijuana is a topic of significant public discourse in the United States, and while many are familiar with the discussions, it is not always easy to find the latest, research-based information on marijuana to answer to the common questions about its health effects, or the differences between Federal and state laws concerning the drug. Confusing messages being presented by popular culture, media, proponents of “medical” marijuana, and political campaigns to legalize all marijuana use perpetuate the false notion that marijuana is harmless. This significantly diminishes efforts tkeep our young people drug free and hampers the struggle of those recovering from addiction.

For more information, please visit our Marijuana Resource Center.

http://www.whitehouse.gov/ondcp/ondcp-fact-sheets/marijuana-legalization

The president attracted a rebuke along those lines from former Democratic Rep. Patrick Kennedy, who told MSNBC that Obama’s director in charge of drug abuse would tell him “that, in fact, today’s modern, genetically modified marijuana — so it’s much higher THC levels — far surpass the marijuana that the president acknowledges smoking when he was a young person.”

He said the president’s remarks were “wrong.”

Despite the discord, Colorado is charging ahead with launching the nation’s first legal pot trade and other states are considering loosening their own rules. The New Hampshire House recently approved a legalization bill.

Advocates point to the legal and personal costs to individuals of continuing to prosecute a full-throated drug war. FBI stats show hundreds of thousands of people are arrested every year for marijuana.

Obama, in his interview, suggested there is hypocrisy in the system, since those writing drug laws “have probably done the same thing” as those being locked up.

Gates book bashes Biden, Obama

By Lauren Ashburn

Robert Gates is out with his new book and it’s a doozy.

In “Duty,” due to hit stores Jan. 14, the former Defense secretary says — among other things — that when it comes to Afghanistan, Obama “doesn’t believe in his own strategy … it’s all about getting out.”

Pundits rightly declare it a less than flattering picture of life in the White House. The Washington Post’s Bob Woodward calls the book, “an antagonistic portrait of a sitting President.”

But the Pres isn’t the only target. Gates slaps VP Biden, well, for being Biden.

ABC gets out the abacus finding it’s not the first time a phrase like ‘wrong side of foreign policy decisions’ has been used by Republicans to describe the Veep.

The White House backed their man faster than he could say Uncle Joe.

Nicholas Kristof, New York Times columnist, weighs in tweeting a qualified nod to the author’s credibility.

And what about the little guys who got a bum rap from Gates? Al-Monitor’s Laura Rozen leaps to their defense.

***

Republicans can win it all in 2014?

UVA’s political science professor, Larry Sabato, who is an oft-seen cable face during elections, writes in his new Politico Magazine column that the Grand Old Party could sweep up in 2014.

But, don’t miss the big “if” attached to his prediction: If, among other factors, Republicans don’t mess it up.

Well, that clears that up.

A key vote passed in the Senate, paving the way for unemployment benefits to be restored. “Mom” is the beneficiary in the White House tweets.

Most Republicans refused to support the extension without corresponding budget cuts. The National Journal’s Ron Fournier just wants everyone to get along.

Good luck with that or any other kind of compromise, tweets reporter Matt Laslo.

And don’t expect him to go there any time soon.

You wanna know what Matt Drudge thinks about ObamaCare?  You probably don’t need to read his tweet to guess.

So there.

It wasn’t quite as big as Jay Carney’s new beard, but the numbing temps in D.C. had journos yukking it up on Twitter yesterday morning.

In my book, v-necks beat ear flaps. Hands down.

ObamaCare enrollment figures still far short of administration’s own goal

By Jim Angle

Published January 07, 2014

FoxNews.com

While the Obama administration is congratulating itself for signing up 2.1 million people in private plans on state and federal health care exchanges, some analysts say it’s a little early to uncork the champagne.

Robert Laszewski of Health Policy and Strategy Associates says, “ObamaCare has proven that it can enroll the sick people. To only have 2 million people enrolled out of 20 million uninsured, plus all the canceled policies, indicates you only got a very small group of people enrolled.”

That’s not even enough, he and others argue, to make up for the policies that were canceled because they didn’t meet the requirements of ObamaCare.

Even the 2.1 million signed up through the end of December 2013 is far short of the administration’s own goal of more than 3.3 million by the end of December – a number projected last September by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services or CMS.

And that figure was just a stepping stone to the eventual goal of 7 million by the end of March.

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius told NBC in an interview last September, “Well, I think success looks like at least 7 million people having signed up by the end of March 2014.”

But now that the administration appears to be falling short, other officials are playing down the 7 million target, sometimes even using exactly the same words.

Gene Sperling, director of Obama’s National Economic Council, argued on “Meet the Press” Sunday that “first of all, there is no magic number. The key is to enroll as many people, have an exchange that`s working….”

White House spokesman Jay Carney said Monday that “it’s important to understand that it is not – that there’s not some magic number – 6,999,999, and the system collapses – one more than that, and it functions perfectly.”

Carney said what is more important than total numbers is who is signing up.

“In terms of how effective the marketplaces function, the makeup, the mix of the population that enrolls is more important that the total number,” he said.

On that, there appears to be no disagreement. But the mix factor is precisely what worries many analysts because with all the problems on the ObamaCare website, the most desperate and determined were the most likely to sign up.

“It doesn’t take Einstein to figure out that the first people who will enroll are the sick people,” says Laszewski.

Data from the state exchanges, such as Kentucky, point in the same direction.

James Capretta of the Ethics and Public Policy Center says ObamaCare does help the poorest and sickest with subsidies.

“If they’re less healthy, it’s a good deal, he says. “So those are the people that have signed up in Kentucky so far. They haven’t really attracted the percentage they need in terms of 20 to 30 year olds.”

Data from other states reflects the same trend.

Administration officials say not to worry– that the young often wait until the end.

But if they don’t sign up, it could be the end, because the plan isn’t financially sustainable without them.

Jim Angle currently serves as chief national correspondent for Fox News Channel (FNC). He joined FNC in 1996 as a senior White House correspondent.

Is President Obama Naughty or Nice?

Is President Obama Naughty or Nice?

Seems the jury is still out on that question with about 51% of the American people who voted for him a second time.

Recent poll numbers indicate a sharp decline in this Presidents approval ratings.

Could these be some of the reasons for that sudden drop?

Massive NSA spying on Americans?

Arming the IRS and DHS better than our own Military?

IRS targeting Conservative Groups?

Illegal AP wiretaps?

Relieving out top Military Commanders?

A President being caught in lie after lie?

 Sealed Presidential records?

Non stop White House Scandals?

Fast and Furious gun running?

Benghazi?

Massive Voter Fraud?

Secrecy instead of promised Transparency?

Abuses of Power?

New FEMA Camps?

BEST SUMMATION OF BARACK AND MICHELLE EVER!
Mychal Massie is a respected writer and talk show host in Los Angeles.
massiewnd

The other evening on my twitter, a person asked me why I didn’t like the Obama’s? Specifically I was asked: “I have to ask, why do you hate the Obama’s? It seems personal, not policy related. You even dissed (disrespect) their Christmas family picture.”

The truth is I do not like the Obamas, what they represent, their ideology, and I certainly do not like his policies and legislation. I’ve made no secret of my contempt for the Obamas. As I responded to the person who asked me the aforementioned question, I don’t like them because they are committed to the fundamental change of my/our country into what can only be regarded as a Communist state.

I don’t hate them per definition, but I condemn them because they are the worst kind of racialists, they are elitist Leninists with contempt for traditional America. They display disrespect for the sanctity of the office he holds, and for those who are willing to admit same, Michelle Obama’s raw contempt for white America is transpicuous. I don’t like them because they comport themselves as emperor and empress.

I expect, no I demand respect, for the Office of President and a love of our country and her citizenry from the leader entrusted with the governance of same. President and Mrs. Reagan displayed an unparalleled love for the country and her people.

The Reagan’s made Americans feel good about themselves and about what we could accomplish. Obama’s arrogance by appointing 32 leftist czars and constantly bypassing congress is impeachable. Eric Holder is probably the MOST incompetent and arrogant DOJ head to ever hold the job. Could you envision President Reagan instructing his Justice Department to act like jack-booted thugs?

Presidents are politicians and all politicians are known and pretty much expected to manipulate the truth, if not outright lie, but even using that low standard, the Obama’s have taken lies, dishonesty, deceit, mendacity, subterfuge and obfuscation to new depths. They are verbally abusive to the citizenry, and they display an animus for civility.

I do not like them, because they both display bigotry overtly, as in the case of Harvard Professor Louis Gates, when he accused the Cambridge Police of acting stupidly, and her code speak pursuant to not being able to be proud of America. I view that statement and that mindset as an insult to those who died to provide a country where a Kenyan, his illegal alien relatives, and his alleged progeny, could come and not only live freely, but rise to the highest, most powerful, position in the world.

Michelle Obama is free to hate and disparage whites because Americans of every description paid with their blood to ensure her right to do same. I have a saying, that “the only reason a person hides things, is because they have something to hide.” No president in history has spent millions of dollars to keep his records and his past sealed.

And what the two of them have shared has been proved to be lies. He lied about when and how they met, he lied about his mother’s death and problems with insurance, Michelle lied to a crowd pursuant to nearly $500,000 bank stocks they inherited from his family. He has lied about his father’s military service, about the civil rights movement, ad nausea. He lied to the world about the Supreme Court in a State of the Union address. He berated and publicly insulted a sitting Congressman. He has surrounded himself with the most rabidly, radical, socialist academicians today.

He opposed rulings that protected women and children that even Planned Parenthood did not seek to support. He is openly hostile to business and aggressively hostile to Israel. His wife treats being the First Lady as her personal American Express Black Card (arguably the most prestigious credit card in the world). I condemn them because, as people are suffering, losing their homes, their jobs, their retirements, he and his family are arrogantly showing off their life of entitlement – as he goes about creating and fomenting class warfare.

I don’t like them, and I neither apologize nor retreat from my public condemnation of them and of his policies. We should condemn them for the disrespect they show our people, for his willful and unconstitutional actions pursuant to obeying the Constitutional parameters he is bound by, and his willful disregard for Congressional authority.

Dislike for them has nothing to do with the color of their skin; it has everything to do with their behavior, attitudes, and policies. And I have open scorn for their constantly playing the race card.

I could go on, but let me conclude with this. I condemn in the strongest possible terms the media for refusing to investigate them, as they did President Bush and President Clinton, and for refusing to label them for what they truly are. There is no scenario known to man, whereby a white president and his wife could ignore laws, flaunt their position, and lord over the people, as these two are permitted out of fear for their color.

As I wrote in a syndicated column titled, “Nero In The White House” – “Never in my life, inside or outside of politics, have I witnessed such dishonesty in a political leader. He is the most mendacious political figure I have ever witnessed. Even by the low standards of his presidential predecessors, his narcissistic, contumacious arrogance is unequalled. Using Obama as the bar, Nero would have to be elevated to sainthood…

Many in America wanted to be proud when the first person of color was elected president, but instead, they have been witness to a congenital liar, a woman who has been ashamed of America her entire life, failed policies, intimidation, and a commonality hitherto not witnessed in political leaders. He and his wife view their life at our expense as an entitlement – while America’s people go homeless, hungry and unemployed.”

Have the lies caught up with Obama?

1462991_622421721151294_1909538856_n

Yep, Obama said that…
It appears so as the media finally begins to take him to task on the many issues he has lied about.  Could this be the beginning of the end for the Obama Administration and the Democrats come the Mid Term Elections next November?  One can only hope as more and more Americans begin to see the deceitfulness of the President.

Promises are only as good as the people that make them.
The integrity of the individual making the promise is essential as to whether they are trustworthy or not.
This president has proven that he is not.
He is a liar, a fraud, a charlatan.
The American People have erred in allowing this administration to continue in the destruction of this Country and it will continue until enough Americans realize that we have made a mistake.
The admission of a mistake made may be hard for some people to admit.
Too bad,…time to suck it up and fix the problem before it gets out of control.
This president has to survive for another 3 years.
That’s an eternity considering the power of the internet.
There will be a full court press prior to the 2014 elections orchestrated by the administration in order to divert attention away from the egregious offenses that are occurring on a day to day basis against the dictates of the Constitution of the United States of America.

2014 is a critical year for our Nation.
It will be a sad day when this Nation does not stand up against the ensuing tyranny on the horizon and speak as one saying,… we have had enough.
This is not what we are.
We are above a tin pot tyrant.
We have proved it before, and we will prove it again.

White House Vowing to Make Good on Transparency Pledge, Critics Aren’t Buying It

In the middle of showdowns with the press and open government groups, the White House on Friday issued a report praising the administration’s efforts to promote more transparency.

White House Vowing to Make Good on Transparency Pledge, Critics Arent Buying It

President Barack Obama is introduced by senior White House adviser Valerie Jarrett, right, as he arrives to speak about the new health care law during a White House Youth Summit, Wednesday. (AP Photo/Carolyn Kaster) AP Photo/Carolyn Kaster

The White House released its second U.S. Open Government National Action Plan, a 14-page report with 23 new and expanded open government proposals, inclduing changes to the White House online petition, modernizing compliance to the Freedom of Information Act and pushing an international agreement to promote transparency abroad.

However critics, such as Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton, have cited that the administration has been resistant to producing information to the public.

“This administration has been less transparent than the Bush administration and they are getting more secretive as time goes on,” Fitton, the chief of the conservative government watchdog group, told TheBlaze. “There are entire categories of information walled off from the public that George W. Bush would never dream of blocking because he would have never gotten away with it.”

A report completed by former Washington Post editor Leonard Downie for the non-partisan Committee to Protect Journalists in October said the Obama administration is the most secretive since the Nixon administration, and has chilled journalists coverage by retaliation against government leakers.

Still the White House is “setting a series of ambitious goals to create a more open government. The United States has continued to implement and improve upon the open-government commitments set forth in the first plan, along with many more efforts underway across government, including implementing individual Federal agency Open Government Plans,” said a White House blog post by Nick Sinai, the U.S. Deputy Chief Technology Officer, and Gayle Smith, White House senior director for development and democracy.

The report said the “We the People” petition website will be improved to make it easier to collect and submit signatures, the White House report states.

The U.S. is also a part of the Global Initiatives on Fiscal Transparency (GIFT), which is an international network of governments and non-government organizations that aims at increasing financial transparency for taxpayers and shareholders. The administration also plans to improve the Data.gov website to make government documents more available to the public.

The report calls for “modernization” of FOIA by “launching a consolidated online FOIA service to improve customers’ experience, creating and making training resources available to FOIA professionals and other federal employees, and developing common FOIA standards for agencies across government.”

But the administration has not complied to FOIA requests from Judicial Watch, pushing the organization to sue the government more than 120 times during the Obama administration, more than twice as many lawsuits as it filed during the Bush and Clinton years, Fitton told TheBlaze. The shielded information has included things such as information on the Benghazi terrorist attack, and the government assistance to mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

“They have politicized FOIA as they have everything else,” Fitton said.

Fitton compared this to Obama’s promises on policy.

“The idea that transparency would be the cornerstone of his presidency is the same as saying if you like your health insurance you can keep it,” Fitton said. “A lying president necessarily isn’t a transparent president.”

The Obama Justice Department has been criticized since May for labeling Fox News reporter James Rosen a “co-conspirator” in a leak investigation and for obtaining phone records from Associated Press journalists.

More recently, the White House Correspondents Association protested the White House blocking news photographers from the type of events that previous administrations have allowed the photojournalists to cover.

The White House has also been criticized for scheduling meetings with lobbyists off White House grounds to avoid having the lobbyists’ names on the visitor logs.

Additionally, former Environmental Protection Agency Lisa Jackson used an e-mail under a different name, for what some have said charged was to avoid releasing communications through FOIA.

Nevertheless, the White House asserts that the public’s right to know what there government is doing is a priority.

“Since his first full day in office, President Obama has prioritized making government more open and accountable and has taken substantial steps to increase citizen participation, collaboration, and transparency in government,” said Sinai and Smith on the White House blog.

AFVet speaks out on ObamaCare with an Internet Solution

1472996_10151920215547740_2114269227_nHat tip to AFVet for this commentary

So what has the internet given us?

The ability to speak to people across the world at lightning speed.
I remember my Father saying that computers and the internet will never amount to anything.
It’s just a passing fad, a toy.
No amount of convincing on my part could change his mind.
He was a stubborn man and I was a son that just didn’t understand.

If he were alive today, he would be astounded at the powerful instrument it has become.

This brings me to my point.

Obamacare is obviously a debacle, and the republicans are possibly looking for a legislative alternative.

A legislative alternative is not what we need.

Rather, take the regulations away from the private sector, eliminate the state line restrictions that have been imposed, and allow the marketplace to do what it does best,….compete.

I can buy a book on Amazon.com, and I have no idea where the company is located, nor do I care.

If that is possible today, why can’t we buy an insurance policy in the same manner ?

The insurance companies should be able advertise across the nation with no restrictions !

The ones that can’t compete will fall by the wayside.

If that was allowed, the prices would go down, and we wouldn’t be forced to pay for maternity insurance if you are a 60 year old man or woman.

Nor would we be paying for ‘morning after pills’.

The logical, plausible aspect of this concept is I believe obvious to anyone that contains some degree of common sense.

No republican alternative.

Repeal Obamacare, and give the 85 % of the American People that were happy with their coverage to shop for it again on an open market.

The remaining 15 % can find something if they want it.

What we don’t want is the government mandating anything to people that actually have to work for a paycheck.
