Will this be America’s Last Independence Day?
A report from WMD that will make you go Hmmm!
Americans concerned over the buildup of military-style units within non-security-related federal agencies – specifically Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) teams – are having those concerns confirmed.
A 2010 Pentagon directive on military support to civilian authorities reveals what critics say is a policy that outlines the potential use of military force against Americans by the Obama administration, reports the Washington Times.
While the document – signed by then-Deputy Defense Secretary William J. Lynn – contains standard provisions on support to civilian emergency services, special events and domestic use of the Army Corps of Engineers, it also outlines presidential authority for use of military weapons and personnel against Americans during times of domestic unrest.
“This appears to be the latest step in the administration’s decision to use force within the United States against its citizens,” a defense official opposed to the directive told the Times.
Directive No. 3025.18, “Defense Support of Civil Authorities,” issued Dec. 29, 2010, provides “emergency authority” to U.S. commanders.
“Federal military forces shall not be used to quell civil disturbances unless specifically authorized by the president in accordance with applicable law or permitted under emergency authority,” the directive states.
“Federal action, including the use of federal military forces, is authorized when necessary to protect the federal property or functions.”
“In these circumstances, those federal military commanders have the authority, in extraordinary emergency circumstances where prior authorization by the president is impossible and duly constituted local authorities are unable to control the situation, to engage temporarily in activities that are necessary to quell large-scale, unexpected civil disturbances” under two conditions.
The military is authorized to provide assistance in the form of arms, ammunition, vessels and aircraft to engage civilians.
While the use of unarmed drones is specifically mentioned, “use of armed [unmanned aircraft systems] is not authorized,” the directive states.
Among the federal agenicies with SWAT teams are the the Department of Agriculture, the Railroad Retirement Board, the Tennessee Valley Authority, the Office of Personnel Management, the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Education Department.
During the recent standoff between armed Bureau of Land Management agents and Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy, the administration considered deploying military force under the Directive No. 3025.18 but ultimately rejected the idea.
The year is 2015 and America is under a state of Marital Law after the defeat of liberal Democrats and Republicans in the 2014 Mid Term Elections. In a move described by many as a complete overthrow of the new Conservative Government President Barack Obama decreed the election illegal and instituted Martial Law in an effort to control the protests that engulfed America.
High ranking Tea Party members of the Congress and Senate were rounded up and isolated from the American Public. The internet kill switch was used to stop any and all political activity and many Americans were placed under house arrest and or sent to re-indoctrination camps.
Overseas the Russia Government seized control of the Ukraine while massing troops along the Turkish boarders. In the Pacific, China launched a full scale invasion of Taiwan while at the same time North Korea invaded and seized control of South Korea.
America’s military was ordered to stand down as a world wide conflict began to take shape. Homeland Security along with other government agencies were given complete authority over our military as they worked to subdue the American Militias and other small pockets of resistance within the the United States.
Although this fiction may be a far fetched scenario of things to come, one has to wonder if President Obama’s words to the Russian President might have meant more than any of us ever imagined.
Here is the transcript of that caught on mic conversation:
Earlier this week, the decades-long battle escalated when protesters confronted federal agents attempting to roundup Cliven Bundy’s approximately 900 “trespass cattle.”
Bundy does not own the land and has refused to pay grazing fees since 1993, contending he doesn’t recognize the federal government’s claim to the property.
“Historically, ranchers would let their cattle graze on public land, and the government didn’t stop them,” Jeremy Hudia, an Ohio attorney familiar with the legal claims being made, explained to TheBlaze in an email. “Back in the 1930s, however, the land was being harmed by all the uncontrolled grazing. So laws were passed to create a permit process to control the amount of grazing.”
“There is no ‘right’ to use public land for one’s personal gain,” he added. “If that were the case, I would start drilling for oil in Yosemite National Park.”
“I have raised cattle on that land, which is public land for the people of Clark County, all my life. Why I raise cattle there and why I can raise cattle there is because I have preemptive rights,” Bundy told TheBlaze Monday. “Who is the trespasser here? Who is the trespasser on this land? Is the United States trespassing on Clark County, Nevada, land? Or is it Cliven Bundy who is trespassing on Clark County, Nevada, land? Who’s the trespasser?”
“I have raised cattle on that land, which is public land for the people of Clark County, all my life.”
In 1998 the federal government said the land was off-limits to cattle, in an effort to morph the property into a habitat for an endangered tortoise. Bundy has refused to leave the area, despite a court order.
This week a tense standoff ensued as federal agents attempted to round up his cattle. Protesters, many driving from far distances, flocked to the area to support Bundy.
In one incident, captured on video, the rancher’s son was struck by a stun gun as his sister was pushed to the ground.
The controversy forced Nevada’s Republican Gov. Brian Sandoval to comment on the matter. He said he was “disturbed” by the First Amendment zones established by officials to prevent protests from spreading all over the land.
“To that end, I have advised the BLM that such conduct is offensive to me and countless others and that the ‘First Amendment Area’ should be dismantled immediately,” Sandoval said. “No cow justifies the atmosphere of intimidation which currently exists nor the limitation of constitutional rights that are sacred to all Nevadans. The BLM needs to reconsider its approach to this matter and act accordingly.”
I have a dog…..great opening statement eh? But seriously I really do have a dog. He’s a chocolate lab and is the result of my breeding efforts a few years ago. I’ve been offered as much as $800 for him which is pretty impressive beings how I never registered the last litter. His mom came from the King Ranch and his father from DFW area. All that being said I gotta say he’s extremely intelligent and very mild mannered. I had him obeying hand signals by 16-20 weeks of age. Now I’m gonna backtrack to about 8 weeks of age. Fer some reason (can’t remember why now) our kennel disappeared, so Caleb spent the first few months of his life on a leash. I wasn’t being cruel I was just managing him when his exuberance needed to be curbed. What I didn’t realize is that I was mentally conditioning him to respect the leash. I didn’t catch it till Caleb was over a year old and my wife was cleaning the house so she put him on the leash and put the leash on the door handle of the back door to keep him off the wet floors. Well we fergot all about him and left to go to the store. When we returned to the house Caleb was in the kitchen right where we left him lying on the floor, leash still attached to him but my wife never attached it to the door. I was amazed and intrigued so I performed a series of tests, all with the same results. Once the leash was on him he absolutely wouldn’t move. He’d just lay down and wait to be released. Doggone it if I hasn’t brainwashed my poor dog. Now as the years progressed he eventually learned to decipher whether the leash was actually attached to something or not. And now he remains steadfast because he loves and respects me, not because he is a slave to the leash.
As I pondered this predicament the other day I came to the conclusion that Americans are conditioned in much the same way. Out freedoms and liberties have been eroded our from under us over the years yet we don’t really move around much because after all, the government has everything under control and we can trust them. Well I reckon it’s about time fer us to experience what it’s like to get that leash from around our necks and start to reclaim our country. And I speak not of anarchy nor treason. I speak of patriotism and activism. We ain’t tied up and we surely ain’t slaves to a corrupt government. The time has come for us to throw off the chains of crooked politicians and inept representatives. We MUST vet our candidates and hold them accountable. There is a lady on Illinois named Manju Goel who has snuck into TeaParty groups claiming to be a conservative yet has voted for Obama TWICE!! How in the heck did she make it through the ‘scrutiny’ of the local chapters? Guys, I’m being serious.
WE MUST BE WISER THAN THE ENEMY AS WE TAKE BACK OUR COUNTRY.
