The Untold Story of Racism in America

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The New Black Panther Party voter intimidation case, sometimes known simply as the Black Panther Case, is a political controversy in the United States concerning an incident that occurred during the 2008 election. The New Black Panther Party and two of its members, Minister King Samir Shabazz and Jerry Jackson, were charged with voter intimidation for their conduct outside a polling station in Philadelphia. The Department of Justice later narrowed the charges against Minister King Shabazz and dismissed the charges against the New Black Panther Party and Jerry Jackson. The decision to dismiss the charges has led to accusations that the Department of Justice under the Obama administration is biased against white victims and unwilling to prosecute minorities for civil rights violations. These charges have been most notably made by J. Christian Adams, who in May 2010 resigned his post in the Department of Justice in protest over the Obama Administration’s perceived mishandling of the case, and by his former supervisor Christopher Coates.

With the November Mid-Term Elections coming this November one has to hope we don’t see a repeat of this kind of behavior at our polling places.

This of course was just one example of Racism by community leaders in America.  One should be mindful of other community leaders who express racism that does not get reported by the mainstream media. Here are some examples of such racism that you may have never heard of before:

Of course most people have heard about the racist rants coming from the pulpit of Jeremiah Wrights Church that President Obama attended for 20 years.

Violent Crime Statistics by Race

As of 2005, statistics show that offending rates for blacks were more than 7 times higher than the rates for whites.

The report The Color of Crime (2005, second expanded edition) by the New Century Foundation states that there are several problems with the official crime statistics in the United States. These tend to cause underestimation of racial crime differences. One example being “Whites” sometimes including Hispanics. Another is not adjusting for that the different racial groups differ in population size. The report reviews the more accurate statistics that is available and describes many large differences in crime rates between races. The report also examines the research on possible bias against racial minorities in the justice system and the police and concludes that bias not a significant explanation for the different racial crime rates.

The major findings were stated as:

Blacks are seven times more likely than people of other races to commit murder, and eight times more likely to commit robbery.
When Blacks commit crimes of violence, they are nearly three times more likely than non-Blacks to use a gun, and more than twice as likely to use a knife.
Hispanics commit violent crimes at roughly three times the white rate, and Asians commit violent crimes at about one quarter the White rate.
The single best indicator of violent crime levels in an area is the percentage of the population that is Black and Hispanic.
Of the nearly 770,000 violent interracial crimes committed every year involving Blacks and Whites, Blacks commit 85 percent and Whites commit 15 percent.
Blacks commit more violent crime against whites than against blacks. Forty-five percent of their victims are white, 43 percent are Black, and 10 percent are Hispanic. When Whites commit violent crime, only three percent of their victims are Black.
Blacks are an estimated 39 times more likely to commit a violent crime against a White than vice versa, and 136 times more likely to commit robbery.
Blacks are 2.25 times more likely to commit officially-designated hate crimes against whites than vice versa.
Only 10 percent of youth gang members are white.
Hispanics are 19 times more likely than whites to be members of youth gangs. Blacks are 15 times more likely, and Asians are nine times more likely.
Between 1980 and 2003 the US incarceration rate more than tripled, from 139 to 482 per 100,000, and the number of prisoners increased from 320,000 to 1.39 million.

Blacks are seven times more likely to be in prison than Whites. Hispanics are three times more likely.

The report also stated that between 2001 and 2003 there were an average of 15,400 Black-on-White rapes. The number of White-on-Black rapes were unclear. Counting some Hispanics as Whites, there were 900 “White”-on-Black rapes. Blacks were 7.2 time more likely to commit interracial rape even after controlling for differences in population size and for the higher general rate of rape for Blacks. This may suggest a deliberate targeting of Whites.

There were 10,000 gang-rapes by Blacks against Whites between but not a single “White”-on-Black gang rape.

A common myth is that Whites are more likely to commit white-collar offenses. Actually, Blacks are 3-5 times more likely than Whites to be in prison for fraud, bribery/conflict of interest, racketeering, and embezzlement.

A large number of studies have examined the relationship between percentage of Black population in an area and crime. Almost all have found a higher percentage of Blacks in the area to be associated with more violent crime and most have found such a relationship with other types of crimes.

Only 0.3% of reported interracial crimes are classified as official “hate crimes“. This classification has been argued to be arbitrary and biased against Whites. Despite this Blacks commit 2.25 times more official hate crimes against Whites and Hispanics than the reverse. The media has been argued to give undue emphasis to official hate crimes as compared to the much more common interracial crimes in general as well as having a bias towards reporting the more uncommon White-on-Black crimes.
As of 2001, the chances of going to only State or Federal prison in percentages for various demographic groups. The lifetime chance for Black males was around 1/3.

For men in their early thirties, Blacks are about 7 times more likely to have a prison record than Whites. They are more likely to have been in prison (22.4 percent) than in the military (17.4 percent) or in college. 12.5 percent have a bachelor’s degree. The results are related on educational achievement. 30 percent of those without college education and nearly 60 percent of high school dropouts had prison records.

Social programs in the United States

Social programs in the United States are welfare subsidies designed to aid the needs of the U.S. population. Proposals for federal programs began with Theodore Roosevelt‘s New Nationalism and expanded with Woodrow Wilson‘s New Freedom, Franklin D. Roosevelt‘s New Deal, John F. Kennedy‘s New Frontier, and Lyndon B. Johnson‘s Great Society.

The programs vary in eligibility requirements and are provided by various organizations on a federal, state, local and private level. They help to provide food, shelter, education, healthcare and money to U.S. citizens through primary and secondary education, subsidies of college education, unemployment disability insurance, subsidies for eligible low-wage workers, subsidies for housing, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits, pensions for eligible persons and health insurance programs that cover public employees. The Social Security system is the largest and most prominent social aid program.[1][2] Medicare is another prominent program.

Not including Social Security and Medicare, Congress allocated almost $717 billion in Federal funds in 2010 plus $210 billion was allocated in state funds ($927 billion total) for means tested welfare programs in the United States—later (after 2010) expenditures are unknown but higher.[3] As of 2011, the public social spending-to-GDP ratio in the United States was below the OECD average.[4]

Total Social Security and Medicare expenditures in 2013 were $1.3 trillion, 8.4% of the $16.3 trillion GNP (2013) and 37% of the total Federal expenditure budget of $3.684 trillion.[5][6]

In addition to government expenditures private welfare spending in the United States is thought to be about 10% of the U.S. GDP or another $1.6 trillion.[7]

Social programs have been implemented to promote a variety of societal goals, including alleviating the effects of poverty on those earning or receiving low income or encountering serious medical problems, and ensuring retired people have a basic standard of living.

Unlike in Europe, Christian democratic and social democratic theories have not played a major role in shaping welfare policy in the United States.[9] Entitlement programs in the U.S. were virtually non-existent until the administration of Franklin Delano Roosevelt and the implementation of the New Deal programs in response to the Great Depression. Between 1932 and 1981, modern American liberalism dominated U.S. economic policy and the entitlements grew along with American middle class wealth.[10]

Eligibility for welfare benefits depends on a variety of factors, including gross and net income, family size, pregnancy, homelessness, unemployment, and serious medical conditions like blindness, kidney failure or AIDS.

Although Social Security is listed as a Socialistic Government Program I submit that by us paying into this program and heavily that it might be a stretch to say that it is entirely Socialistic in nature.

It would seem, according to Wikipedia that we are in fact a Socialist State. Although many may tend to disagree with those findings the fact remains that we have over the past 100 years or so become a government dependent country.

Perhaps Winston Churchill said it best:

Today we find ourselves at a crossroads where one path is apathy and the other is survival. The big question we should be asking ourselves these days is whether the road less traveled will be the one that wins the day come the Mid-Term Elections this November.

With 51% of the electorate solidly behind this entitlement mentality one has to wonder when, if ever, the tide will swing back to responsibility and personal achievement through hard work and an honest days wage.

Welfare is the organized public or private social services for the assistance of disadvantaged groups. Aid could include general Welfare payments, health care through Medicaid, food stamps, special payments for pregnant women and young mothers, and federal and state housing benefits. The Welfare system in the United States began in the 1930s, during the Great Depression. Opponents of Welfare argue that it affects work incentives.

Looking at the numbers above it is painfully obvious why no one  on welfare would want to go out and get a job.

It is commonly known that there are welfare recipients collecting benefits for three consecutive generations and yet there are no exact numbers found after an extensive search of the internet for those statistics.

One has to wonder why?

Welfare Spending

I think this chart explains all too well which President is responsible for the biggest increase in Welfare recipients in U. S. history.

Can you say: Redistribution of Wealth?

ANY QUESTIONS?

Barack Obama’s Great Entitlement Society by the Numbers

121

Barack Obama’s Great Entitlement Society

or the

Redistribution of Wealth?

The percentages those on welfare by race.

As of 2011  they are listed below in descending order by percentage.
Black-39.8%
White-38.8%
Hispanic-15.7%
Other-3.3%
Asian-2.4%

To break down these numbers, we look at how many Whites are in the population as a WHOLE.  If Blacks make up less 14% of the population and are almost 40% of all recipients, then they represent about 2.5 times their actual population.

Since Whites are over 50% of the total US pop., they represent less than their overall piece of the pie, population-wise.

Hispanics are at least 15% of the general population, so they take only about as much as what their population represents.

Why am I writing this?

Because I am tired of the misrepresentations on this issue.

I read there are many claiming that more Whites are on welfare than Blacks (not true, in terms of raw numbers), yet not accounting for the fact that there are over 4X as many Whites in this country than Blacks!

In statistics, you cannot go by mere numbers.

Only if the playing field is exactly equal, which it rarely is!
This thread was started, not to be racist, but to keep it real.

After all, there are some legitimate reasons for Blacks to be on welfare more than Whites.

The worst thing anyone can do is be in denial

The Epic Battle of Good vs Evil in America

I remember a simpler time in America not so long ago when we as a people had a common respect and reverence for our rich Heritage and Traditions.  One might say it was the Best of Times as we all prospered and held fast those time honored Values that made this the Greatest Nation the World has ever known.  We were united in the belief that Freedom was a God given right to all men and women and worked hard to insure that we became that veryIdeal.  We were the last best hope for all of mankind on planet Earth.

Then Came the Break Down of the American Family

Americans began to enjoy the Fruits of their Labor and worked hard to live a better life.  We moved to the Suburbs and began to enjoy the luxuries afforded us by our own prosperity.  Soon we found ourselves preoccupied with the cares of our success and buried ourselves in our technology to the point with which we forgot who we were and began living life as a video game escaping the realities of the World around us.  Not wanting to leave anyone behind we struggle to bring equality to all in the form of Social Justice only to find ourselves allowing the few to rule the many.  Our success caused us to have such a belief in ourselves that we soon found our need for God beginning to diminish in our daily lives. We allowed our Schools to take from us our Parental Rights and gave them the power to teach our children those things which defied the natural order of our traditional family values.

We have produced a new generation of Americans that are now Selfless, Godless, and Morally Decayed.  We have only ourselves to blame and reversing this trend is rapidly becoming the new Epic Battle for which America must fight.

America before there were Politically Correct Liberals

To Those of Us Born

1925 – 1970 :
TO ALL THE KIDS WHO SURVIVED THE
1930s, ’40s, ’50s, ’60s and ’70s!!

First, we survived being born to Mothers who may have smoked and/or drank while they were pregnant. They took aspirin, ate blue cheese dressing, tuna from a can, and didn’t get tested for diabetes. Then, after that trauma, we were put to sleep on our tummies in baby cribs covered with bright colored lead-based paints.

We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, locks on doors or cabinets, and, when we rode our bikes, we had baseball caps, not helmets, on our heads.

As infants and children, we would ride in cars with no car seats, no booster seats, no seat belts, no air bags, bald tires and sometimes no brakes..

Riding in the back of a pick- up truck on a warm day was always a special treat.

We drank water from the garden hose and not from a bottle.

We shared one soft drink with four friends, from one bottle, and no one actually died from this.

We ate cupcakes, white bread, real butter, and bacon. We drank Kool-Aid  Soda made with real white sugar. And we weren’t overweight.

WHY?

Because we were always outside playing…that’s why!

We would leave home in the morning and play all day, as long as we were back when the streetlights came on.

No one was able to reach us all day and, we were OKAY..

We would spend hours building our go-carts out of scraps and then ride them down the hill, only to find out we forgot the brakes.. After running into the bushes a few times, we learned to solve the problem.

We did not have Play Stations, Nintendo and X-boxes. There were no video games, no 150 channels on cable, no video movies or DVDs, no surround-sound or CDs, no cell phones, no personal computers, no Internet and no chat rooms.

WE HAD FRIENDS and we went outside and found them!

We fell out of trees, got cut, broke bones and teeth, and there were no lawsuits from those accidents.

We would get spankings with wooden spoons, switches, ping-pong paddles, or just a bare hand, and no one would call child services to report abuse.

We ate worms, and mud pies made from dirt, and the worms did not live in us forever.

We were given BB guns for our 10th birthdays, made up games with sticks and tennis balls, and although we were told it would happen- we did not put out very many eyes.

We rode bikes or walked to a friend’s house and knocked on the door or rang the bell, or just walked in and talked to them.

Little League had tryouts and not everyone made the team.

Those who didn’t had to learn to deal with disappointment.
Imagine that!!

The idea of a parent bailing us out if we broke the law was unheard of. They actually sided with the law!

These Generations have produced some of the best risk-takers, problem solvers, and inventors ever.

The past 50 to 85 years have seen an explosion of innovation and new ideas..

We had Freedom, Failure, Success and Responsibility, and we learned how to deal with it all.

If you are one of those born
Between 1925-1970, CONGRATULATIONS!

You might want to share this with others who have had the luck to grow up as kids before the Lawyers and the Government Regulated so much of our lives for our own good.

Kind of makes you want to run through the house with scissors, doesn’t it ?
